Enya 53
Dear all, I love Enya engines too. I recently acquired a 53-4c with very low time, the old version (air bleed carb).
Had the intake pipe with read sealant in both part : head- carb. Upon analisys the intake pipe bend was a little "too much", so the O-R and the silicone sleeve were pushed and got squeezed, so necessity to stop leaks with sealant.
I let the carb attached only by the intake pipe, so I made a specific fixture to hold the carb without tension: It works!
meantime, I read a lot about the risk of corrosion on this engine due to remaining oil in the camshaft box , so i turned a nipple in order to use it in place of the original screw holding the carburrettor.
So flushing the area after flying is easier!
