Did you read Lawrence Tougas' column in the November 2020 issue of Model Aviation? It contains a summary of one of the numerous successful SRM meetings that have lead to LOA's for operations over 400' at AMA fields.

You could also call and talk to Tyler Dobbs, I'd bet he would be willing to discuss it with a member. I have participated in two teleconferences in the past 3 months where Tyler has discussed this, and other regulation-related issues.

I'm sure you realize that this forum, with its plethora of "expert" naysayers is the absolute *last place* an AMA person would discuss these issues.

If you want the latest information, ask the source...
