The Dr. visit went well, I face 8 weeks, (40 days) of daily radiation treatments, but the prospects look good.
I had the back plate ordered for a few month at MacGregors, finally they sent an email saying it was no longer available. The top two bolt holes are each half broken off, the .125" aluminum plate serves the purpose well. And is not very visible.
