I made an aluminium bracket that has a rubber grommet for the sensor lead to pass through. It fits under the Super Mount bolts. This stops the sensor wire from vibrating and cracking where the hard join finishes.
I'm at work now and don't have a photo. I'll try to remember to post one when I get home 🙄

Since I started using this bracket, I haven't had a back plate failure.
