Anybody try welding in a strong magnetic field? I did about 10 years welding aluminum and steel on aluminum smelting pots while they're running. The magnatism was so strong you couldn't pick a sledge hammer up off the deck plate. Lots of challenges there. Sometimes you had to get pretty creative.. This was with a 480 volt mig machine.
