I am getting seriously interested in building a CARF R2 after reading both Hammes' articles in RC Scale magazine.
Did CARF incorporate the symmetric rudder in V2? Their web site indicated its non-symmetrical, but perhaps it's not fully updated. Hammes' article indicated the airplane flies better with the symmetrical rudder.
I love the sound of a Moki but a DA 150 seems like a more practical choice for power. Are folks satisfied with the power from a 150 in the R2?
