Not enough money in a small fiberglass parts market..tooling of molds etc for just that wouldn't be gained back
For him to be profitable with it it would have to retail at a 1600 to 1800 dollar price point, tooling alone looking at 9 to 10 thousand easy for molds strong enough for mass production.
understand, If I manage to convince him, you are still looking at, at least, a year before you could pre order the first kits off the line...minimum.
those pre-orders would probably determine if full scale or limited production run. Have to be enough to fill a small shipping container, get some flying, Guage response, etc.
