OK, the prices I hope/expect to pay for my C140:
£250 - £300 for the kit (no I dont know what the price will be)
£120 for Hatori pipe and Manifold
£260 for 5 digital Hitec servos
£20 for profilm (I have loads but only in red, white and blue)
Say a total of £650 to £700[

]. Probably add another £100 for odds and sods and mistakes etc.
I'm lucky I already have eveything else (YS 120 FZ, Gator engine mount, receiver and battery, tetra fuel tank, carbon rods, etc)
If you are buying the engine and stuff as well, add another £400 - £500 (assuming YS).
That is why I am trying to save my money at the moment. Not doing too well

. Though I have managed to sell some old stuff which has helped. I will have to hold off ordering the servos until needed to make sure I can afford them. At least this not trying to spend has meant me concentrating on finishing other projects rather than buy new ones. You never know I might actually get my Hornet heli finished (I started it in January).
As for why I want one? Well I have always wanted a two metre pattern ship, but the really nice ones are all made of composite with foam wings (and cost a fortune). With the C140 it is proper construction with a built up fuz and wings. And it does 3D!!
As for why not stick with the C50 and other 40/60 size planes, well for the most part I will, but I do believe it when they say bigger planes fly better, so I want to try one. Also, I want to push myself and fly with the big boys. To do that I think it will help having the big boys' toys (actually probably won't, having their skill and ability would be more helpful[&:])
I would also like to see a 60/90 size Capiche, but I don't think one is planned. I therefore plan to get the MK 3D Dancer instead. However that will cost me just as much as the C140 as I'll be buying a YS 110 new for it.
