Been putting it off for a while but I needed to move on the wheels. First the spoked ones.

I got some aluminium disks off the internet of the right dimensions approximately.

I then drilled 2mm holes at the apices of the holes and then drilled a big hole in the middle of them.

I cut out the remainder with a jewellers saw and then filed the holes.




There is some work to do on them but it should be OK.
I cannot have aluminium spinning on steel axles so I made brass hibs and liners using tube silver soldered to disks. The centre hole on the disk will allow for a retaining screw.
