So a long, long, long time ago this thread started out with discussion on AMPS outboard motors.....I found this out when I was Googling for information on this type of motor
Why would I be doing that.....?
A buddy of mine just passed away and I'm trying to help his family dispose of items he had acquired over the years...including one such motor!
I'm not sure if the motor was ever run, or if it was it doesn't appear to have been run much.
The motor turns really freely including the outboard prop.....it does have some damage to the housing portions, which from what I read was a typical problem for this type of motor.
I'm trying to figure out how to get this sold to a new owner so that he/she can enjoy it and the family can get some bucks for it.....I'm on this site, FG and RCG but am not sure if there is much call for the motor on any of them
