Why don't you just go fly somewhere that is not a AMA field?

For $2000 dollars a year my club in Colorado rents 2 achers from a farmer, Go get twenty guys together and get your own field and fly however you like. I'm sure in Texas that should not be so hard, are local USP lets a bunch of guys fly behind there buildings on Open space land.
