Kinda late to yhe game, but updating the system between elevon and servo..think Skymaster on their jets, 2 to three bearings that ride in an aluminum "race" similar shape to notch in elevon.

Its a beautiful set up and little to no mechanical "drag"
Might be worth the mod/upgrade to eliminate wearing the wood. Even a 3d printed "race" would be better than metal on wood. Other than that, its a very similar setup to skymaster kits.
I stumbled on y'alls thread by pure accident and started post one. Love the XL, had more payload than the Eagle E. Its upgraded engine and a clean wing, it would supercruise.
On the cockpit...perhaps Jiri at JPWarbirds could do up the analog panel that would be XL correct.
Pylons and resin bomb load as well, for those wanting to do so. Right up his alley.

You guys might be the ines who could figure out the rhrust assisted STOL ducting in the wings to work with an rc turbine..just don't miscalculate lije Pratt and Whitney did :-)
