The RV-4 is a great little kit. I have mine to the point of covering (of course, it's been to that point for a couple of months now. I'm just lazy). I enjoyed building it and I'm looking forward to flying it. I don't know the weight on mine just yet, but it seems to be fairly well designed for weight, so I don't think it will be a "lead sled". And like it was said before, build something different than you always see at the field. That's one of the reasons I went for the RV-4.
