I have no idea how many flights on mine but it’s 12 years old and has had 4 engines! I’ve considered retiring it, glassing it and making a mold from it. Love the way it flies and has been old reliable all this time. I’ve flown the H9 Corsair and while it’s nice it’s too heavy. The TF is a good sport scale Corsair for all around use off grass or paved runway and low to high winds.
Mods I like to see on this plane: Scale Flaps, Scale Tail Gear and Doors, Folding Wings (been done by Earl A. with a custom designed fiberglass mechanism)
Engines: DLE 55RA, Saito FG84, DLE 61, DLE 65
Telemetry: Temp and RPM
Robart Gear - 100% reliable air system and mechanics - add a few drops of silicone oil each season to the cylinders, use large and medium air tanks together for more volume = reliability
Last flight at our club field Summer 2020 before this turned into a gravel pit…
