That makes a difference as to the customer market. Here in USA, most of those warbirds are common place. In Europe, I have no idea.
For gear, consider Electron or Behotec for electric. You would probably have to make struts that fit the aircraft, and the retract. Most are shear pins. They would be an upgrade option, and you would be able to offer electric gear. I have Behotec air and electric. The wing will break before the gear. Electron is 50/50, but they are strong too. Personally, I always disliked Robart. Especially the 622 or 645, I forget, for the P-51. Most Robart can't take side loads with a 25#+ taildragger.
