What I would like to know is, Do you feel it is save to charge an A123 batt in the Jet?

The reason I ask is the location of the battery does not allow easy removal for charging. I have to remove part of the internal ducting and the nose section to get the battery out. I stuck with the NiCad because it was safer for charging on board.

One item that is not discussed so far is will the batteries work with your servos if you have an older airplane the voltage is too high and could burn up the servo I went from NiCad to 123‘s on the king cat and the JR servos burned up you might have to use regulators if you have old servos when they come off the charge they are a little too high
