i have a similar problem on my Spitfire aileron hook-up, will mod a to perpendicular setup

I have close to 700 flights on three Kangaroo's with elevon and rudder hookups that are not perpendicular to the hinge line. If the angle is too large, I use Robart horns with the ball link installed. I like having the push rod aligned with the airflow. If the angle is too large, you will have some problems, but the picture of the F-15 vertical fin seems like no problem. I wouldn't change it.
