Got out for a little flying today - Windy all day but calmed down this evening..

Field was a mess as it rained here all week and it really needed a mow but had a few great flights with the Kavalier - The recent mods of the fixed air bleed and the thermal isolator seems to have really helped. The engine ran great. Still a few tweaks to make idle to mid range but upper half of curve is flawless...Solid idle now and great response. Lots of power too as one of the high speed passes was rocking.

This 5 minute flight burned about 2 oz of fuel - Great fuel economy. Tried to demo some "light aerobatics" to show the consistency of the power settings and transitions.

Despite only having flown relatively few flights - I'm really starting to like this setup..
