I have started my journey with one of these CMP P-47 razorbacks with the fiberglass fuse and the foam core balsa sheeted wing. Mine came without the ****ty retracts so I bought a set of retracts from Phoenix Model Products and they are pretty cheap and actually really nice for the money. I got a set of Robart scale wheels with the plastic hubcaps. They look fairly scale kinda like the plane in general it's just sort of scale...I tore off all the covering on my wing and had to do major surgery to get my retracts to fit. I am going with a Hacker A50 16L with a Castle Talon ESC. Apparently I am the only guy trying an electric setup on this plane. I just hope it's enough power for it. I went with Hitech karbonite analog full size servos and I'm going to install a Futaba GYA 553 gyro system. Wish me luck. Shes getting close to the finish line.
