So I'm a "chucklehead" now? I'm afraid not. You want to call me something, I'd accept these:
- an R/C modeler
- a scale hydroplane builder and racer
- a productive citizen of this country
- A VETERAN
You, on the other hand, are a self righteous slacker with nothing to really contribute to the community.
When you start talking about radios and what can affect the signal, EVERYTHING IS RELEVANT. Signals can be:
- blocked
- reflected
- attenuated
- distorted
Even though it wasn't talked about, people do fly R/C float planes and flying boats so water effects ARE VERY RELEVANT!!!! The fact that you don't fly near water is what is irrelevant. It wouldn't surprise me to read that you can't fly off of water. One of my planes is getting twin floats so that is a skill I will have to master, along with dealing with the drag of the floats
