No - it wasn't me that bent the probe!...
I bet that probe gives some reliable readings.. hahaha
Don't worry about making the water more muddy, it couldn't get any worse. haha. I was pretty sure the nose was a bit to squared off, i still have a bit of refining to do. I'm printing off a small portion of it now to get a physical sample to look at.
