I hadn't said a thing about their design "intentions" but thanks for posting that however there is a such thing. The10PX does support SR gyro operation with an SR capable Gyro like the GYD-550 and SR capable servos. The 10PX in fact can supports FASTEST through the use of UR servos. As far as the GYA-553 it supports sbus protocols which is a response upgrade over standard servos that are not sbus capable..

An example of a UR servos for FASTEST response with my FUTABA radios system is the CT701 which is a 269.00 servo...

The dedicated surface gyro system is the faster responding gyro system and I have both so it really isnt a big deal for me that the GYA is not..
