I don't think shuohan has tried instructing anybody to fly or he wouldn't be giving the advise to buy a Cessna. Cessnas make ok full size trainers but do not make very good RC trainers. 2nd type planes like Avistars work ok for some new flyers but are too frisky and sensitive for others. If you really want to be sure that you will make it to solo then buy a Sig LT40. It comes in kit or ARF. I have taught 8 year olds how to fly on an LT40.
