The GP Extra 300 Thread is mine. I dont recommend the GP Extra 300 for 3D. The wing loading is too high, the wing airfoil is all wrong, surfaces too small and the plane is too heavy.

I love the plane for conventional aerobatics just not 3D. There really arent any .60 size Extra 3D planes. Even the CG listed above is not ideal. Sure a YS 1.40 will drag it around with raw power but it will not do the 3D manuvers properly.

Extremeflightrc.com will eventually have a good .60 size 3D ARF but they are having supply problems so no ETA on the planes. Look at that website and note the size of the flying surfaces and thickness/blunt airfoil on the wing. Thats what you need for 3D in addition to extreme light weight and very low wing loading.
