I just finished a tmaxx conversion with a hobbywing wp-sc8 esc and a castle 1515 1y 2100kv motor. Holy crap. Running it on 4s was insane. To the tune of I ordered some 3s batteries to tone it down. Neither motor nor esc got hot running up and down grassy hills, up and down the street (plus cartwheels, wheelies, stoppies, etc). If it's speed and power you want, that will deliver.
