Oh wait the insurance may not cover you unless you are following the AMA Safety Code!!!! You have read the Safety Code? Right and you have read all the restrictions on what the insurance will and won't cover. right?
People gave you the instructor advice for a REASON knowing how to properly balance a plane is a BASIC skill!!!! Since you didn't know how to do that correctly people rightly assumed that part of their advice should include the recomendation to get an instructor... However after reading your reply I rather doubt that you'd be receptive to any advice provided by an instructor thus wasting his time...
I can't speak for others, but this is precisely why I don't care for Crashem. He's probably a great pilot and a lot could be learned from him. But after reading a couple of his very rude and sarcastic (not constructive) posts, I'd rather not deal with him. Maybe I am taking it too personal, but I like to get advice from people who enjoy helping, not giving snide remarks all the time because they've been in the hobby 20 + years and know more than everyone else.
