RE: ryobi won't start!
I've ran alot of gassers including Ryobi's and there all the same.Go thru the basic checklist. #1 is it getting spark? please don't assume actually check it. #2When you put your finger over the carb. inlet while turning engine over does it draw fuel? #3 Is there compression? #4 If all this passes your inspection Check the plug and then finally remove flywheel and check that the key is'nt damaged or missing. One last thing you could be floding it although the gassers like to start a little on the wet side. By the way are you trying to hand start it? You will likely never be successfull unless you use a starter at least until it's warmed up plus you have to spin that flywheel at approx 600+ rpm to get the mag to fire, not easy to do by hand.
