And yet Echo's post would lead one to believe they're still there ... so I went and looked. Interesting what I found. Remember back when everyone was being told by "leaders" to wear masks in restaurants etc.? And then remember how angry we felt when we saw those same "leaders" eating in fancy restaurants without masks? That's called "Mixed Messaging," and it undermines whatever effort you're trying to promote.

With that in mind, the AMA is telling members (or anyone with access to their open websites ... like AMA flight school) to follow the rules. Yet when one goes to these sites, as I did a few minutes ago, what you see is blatant "mixed messaging" that screams "do as I say, not as I do."

Very first link after I clicked on after searching "FPV" on AMA flight school:

- Start to approx 3 min: Appears to be BLOS, repeated aggressive maneuvering over moving car
- Approx 3:09, drops below cliff down to beach (and clearly BLOS)
- Approx 3:49 after encouraging to watch "professionals" (who likely flying BVLOS), "not even close to the envelope of where you can push your quad..."
- Approx 7:30 when discussing "location" shows flying over moving car AS HE'S TALKING ABOUT NOT BREAKING FAA RULES!

Other photo further down taken from over houses, an active road, in densely populated area. More "do as I say, not as I do." If AMA is to be CREDIBLE (and FAA pays attention to details like this God forbid there's ever an incident), AMA needs to scrub each and every web page, each and every linked video on their site to ensure there's no doubt what people see is compliant with AMA and FAA. And if it's a gray area, it should come down. So there's never any question that AMA is doing it right.
