The rudder and, if equipped, turn fin, can be extremely sharp. Even more dangerous is the prop. Unlike an aircraft prop, a boat prop is made from stainless steel or beryllium copper, is balanced, polished and sharpened to the point of being razor sharp. My 67 spins up to 28K RPM and can remove a finger in a fraction of a second. Even if the rudder, fin and prop don't make contact with anyone/anything, a boat hitting someone at 50+ miles per hour can still kill and have done so in the past.
Just like flying a 50cc plane with a 24" prop. Give it a go. Maybe you'll only take out a windshield.
