My old GP Big Stik 60 is a tail dragger and is powered with Zenoah G20 gasser. It has no flaps and I have no problems in landing it and would certainly not consider it a floater.
I have never flown a Stik with flaps but have seen the H9 Big Stiks with crow do some real crazy stuff.
