The glow plug is a type F, I live in the south noted for humidity in the summer. The fuel is 15% nitro or 10%. This may be the glow plug that came with it and it has many flights over abut two years. The fuel is about 3% castor.
As far as cam timing goes the rockers are even and just starting to move at TDC of compression stroke. Other than that how should the cam timing be checked. This engine has performed very well untill the prop struck the ground in aborted take off.
As soon as the rain lets up a new glow plug and fuel will be used for a test run in the back yard.
