I normally use the the Smoothflite and 2s Lipo batteries to power the jet including the retracts, lights, etc. I then use a separate 3s lipo to power the ECU. The issue is the Swiwin smoke pump I want to get looks like it runs off of 3s. I do not want to have to have a separate 3s battery just to power the smoke pump but I have always been a bit hesitant to run anything additional off of the ECU battery. Hence the initial post to get a consensus of what others are doing. I suppose I could use a buck converter to upregulate the 2s voltage to 12 volts but not sure if that would be the right route to go.
