This is the solution, in my opinion. I have a 35lb Xcalibur+ that I converted to JP electric gear, and I have the same problem, no brakes at speed (same bigger wheels with the plates in the rims). This Xicoy controller allows up to 12v (3s) and has the pulse feature which is great. Hard to get though, Dreamworks is out of stock! I had to order direct from Xicoy which costs in shipping. I will let you know if it truly works when I install it soon. Shame that JP does not make their controllers to work properly with the bigger models!
