So, I received the Xicoy controller and installed it in my Xcalibur+. I now get 12v to my brakes. The results are better, BUT, when the wheel speed gets above a certain point the brakes still don't work! I think its just a poor design that does not work at speed. It seems it just not possible to get enough voltage to the brakes to overcome the centrifugal force affecting the pads.
