is this the version that doesn't work? I put a 3s lipo directly to the brake no radio or controller (momentarily). With no wheel I can still turn that metal plate by hand. With the wheel on I can torn it by hand. It seem some others have the opposite issue where the brakes lock up too easily??

it's like there is not enough friction between the plate and the rubber. I'm trying to figure out what I can do to that plate to give more friction. I tried to ca some sand paper onto it but it made it slicker.

help!
