The vehicles I purchased required almost complete rebuilding short of the power trains. I believe my children would appreciate the cars more if they had to work for them, so they did much of the labor. they moaned and groaned a lot but when finished they had a lot of pride in the accomplishment and took better care of the vehicles. the painting of the cars really made them happy, and learned quite a bit about vehicle maintenance. we had four MGB's I didn't pay much over a few hundred bucks for any of them. I had to let them go shortly after we moved out of town.
