......Hi Tony!......sorry for the long absence......I am also a member of the "Vought Heritage Foundation".....this is the Vought retirement Club that i meet with every Tue and thur to restore vintage aircraft built by the company that I worked for .......some of these aircraft do not exist to this day.....so from the original plans that do exist from Smithstonian we were able to scratch build the very first Vought VE-7 Bluebird for the AAF.....it is on display at Pinsacola Navel Museum ....so, we decided to scratch build an O3U-3...the Corsair-I that does not exist anymore.....we are getting close to completing it......so, I have been working with the small crew that we have left.....we started on this project over 10 years ago with around 35 people and thru attrition we are down to half that many....most of us are in our 80's and .some are in their 90's.......some have passed away others have retired for health reasons.... I am 82 and will be 83 on the 16th of this month.......so, I hope I can last long enough to see both my projects complete.......
