My name is not Cirrus but I'd like to remain anonymous. I saved up enough money when I was 15 for my first RC set-up but then realized I had enough money to fly the full size variety. So I did that and have been doing it ever since. Now at the tender age of 40 I decided that I have to get it out of my system and went out ond bought a Firebird Commander.

I have been flying it from a local park that has 5 soccer fields together and have been having a blast. I've only had a few minor crashes and have not spent any money yet on repairs although I bought a spare wing. I can see the wing may be the first thing to go. This thing must be the easiest airplane in the universe to fly if I can do it right out of the box.

Flying RC makes me feel like a kid again. I do not know if I'm going to progress very far from what I'm doing now. The little Challenger satisfies my RC cravings for now. I'm planing on aquiring the G2 simulator and see where it goes from there. In the meantime I'm enjoying and learning from these forums very much.
