RE: engine mounting, centerline & alignment?
Also thanks to the forums I've learned a lot about thrust angles. Now my guess is I need to set up the engine with no directional thrust. the way the engine sits on the mount, there's enough play that I could unintentially mount the engine at an angle. Again, is eyeballing it good enough or should i say, measure from the windtips to the prop shaft to make sure its square.
um... no. the planes fusalage should already ahve any thrust needed, if not, use washers behind the mount, dril lthe holes in the mount parallel with the mount, donot set engine at angle. this is my guess. it is only a guess and i no im gonna get slamed for this one after my last post, but anyway. id assume that the center line is (vertical) smack dab in the middle (horizontal) in line with the middle of the Le on the wing. if you look at my sig then you will understand why i cannot help with this exact plane.
hope this helps
