Prior to the Chipmunk, Art had a Pitts. Sadly it was the Pitts he died in while filming the spin footage for the first Top Gun movie.

Over the years I was fortunate enough to cross paths with Yeager, Hoover, Loudenslager and a few others. Wish I had had the opportunity to meet and talk to Art. He was absolutely one of my favorite pilots of all time.
