A very long time ago, I had one of those fly airboats made from Depron. I think it was called Hydrofoam or something. It was a real hoot. Taking off from a grass runway and doing real aerobatics was extremely cool.

On the one in the OP, I wonder how it would do with an EDF unit instead of just a motor and prop. Heck, it might even break 100 mph.
