ESTATE COLLECTION
Hi Guys, I'll be using this thread to post some very cool stuff over the next week or two, and there are some very cool items going on the block. Here's a photo of some of it, and I'll be posting individual items here real soon.
We'll start with a Blitzkrieg Armor 1/6 scale Hetzer kit. This kit appears to be fully complete, and unlike the kit I bought a few years ago, the tracks are in really great shape and well assembled. I believe this may be one of the earlier kits, hence the great tracks. On my kit I had to completely re-work both tracks to get them right, but that won't be necessary with this kit.
Asking price for this kit is $2,500 US, plus shipping. Now might be a good time to mention that all prices listed here will be plus shipping, and you will only pay actual shipping cost. If you pay shipping and we later learn it will cost less than estimated, a refund for the excess will be issued.
Next is an Armor Hobbies Sd.Kfz.250 halftrack kit. I have one of these kits myself and it's suited for RC conversion, my lazy ass just hasn't gotten around to completing my kit. This kit also comes with spare parts from another, identical kit, including a lower hull and other parts. In this photo you see the kit with the spares on top of the box, but the box underneath contains a complete, brand new 250 kit. Asking price is $350 US, plus shipping of course, but this kit is fairly light and shouldn't be over the top for shipping costs.
This is just a start and there will be much more to come. Here's a teaser photo of two of the Tamiya tanks, a King Tiger that runs and is in the process of being tested, and an M-51 Super Sherman project that appears mostly complete. If you're interested in any of these items, or the items to come, we can get detailed photos for you on request. Prices on these two tanks have yet to be determined, that's why I call it a teaser photo.
From what I've seen so far, the guy that originally owned this stuff was a very good modeler and the build quality seems quite good.
Next will be a 1/6 Panzer IV kit, made by the same folks that did the Hetzer. Price on this one is yet to be determined, as we still need to figger out what's here and what's missing, so give us a minute on this one, this is just a teaser photo.
If you see anything in these or future photos that interests you, please feel free to PM me with inquiries.
More to come.
