The bolt is like a freight train locked in on rails. It will do every bit and more of what it’s advertised to do.. The most incredibly solid, precise, flying jet I have ever had my hands on. It will pull ridiculous Gs at super high speeds also. And then it slows down and still maintains its stability. Landings are super solid and predictable. The way the bolt is engineered is also ahead of anything else in the hobby. The most solid built and well engineered RC jet ever.. A lot of the plane is laid up in carbon fiber as needed, and there is a good amount of innovation in how it is assembled, including a full bypass system that mounts up in a matter of minutes.

The ultra flash is super quick and agile, and super fun however, it’s a little bit less stable at slow speed. Slow Flight performance is not as good compared to the Bolt. Depending on your CG, you can bounce the UltraFlash on landing… I really do wish there was an option for full ducting and bypass on this jet still, but the Evo does away with all that for the sake of simplicity. It really shows, even on the larger engine the plane hits an aerodynamic wall.

I love both Jets in different ways but so much that I got two of each. Either jet is virtually unbreakable. You will destroy the bearings on your turbine before either lets go structually. if I had to pick one, Bolt by far though!
