OK, I've done a little research and understand the proposal to replace the standard processor with a TK 7.0, TK 7.1 or a TK40. I've looked up each of these modules and it does look like a TK 7.0 or 7.1 would be a good option, as I'm trying to do this on the cheap. (If I have to spend too much money, I may as well just buy a better tank that is already proportional! ).
There will be some fundamentals that I need to understand, such as.;-
- Which terminals/sockets on the new processor connect to which functions/hardware on the tank?
- Will I be able to bind my current transmitter to the new set-up? It is an XK X6 2.4 Ghz S-FHSS FTR digital/proportional controller.
I will post some pictures of the tank, it's interior and the controller as soon as I have made enough posts to qualify.
