You might be able to use that radio, but you'll need a receiver and you'll want to make the left stick self centering. As for the functions, you're going to have to disconnect all of those wires from the board and add JST plugs if you plan to use a different board. If you ask me, your best bet would be to just get a 1/16th scale tank. You can get an all plastic tiger or Sherman for just about $150. 1/24 scale is kind of the red headed stepchild of RC tanks. There are just so many more options available if you step up to 1/16.
