The weight for 2000mAh 7.4V Lithium Polymer is 90grams compared to 300grams for 7.2V 1800mAh Ni-Cad. You can get this capacity Li-Po for around $40 in the USA so the cost for Li-Po is really competitive with Ni-Cad.
