Well sense my last post I’ve completed the bottom wing and the Top wing I was not very impressed with the thin wing ribs. Started the fuselage cutting out parts. Several did not penetrate and I had to cut and saw several of the parts, the thicker Balsa was burned on one side like an over flash in the lazer cut. I did several wing reinforcements around the strut areas. Bottom wing illustrated top and the top wing illustrated bottom. The struts are pinned with dowel rods. Nice feature but in the build process I think covering the top of the bottom wing and the bottom of the top wing will aid in the pin assembly. Don’t know any other way to,do this, also the wing tips on both wings need reinforcement. Way to thin for Silk and dope. Also planning to fly just for fun sport using my Fox 59 vintage with the wood rail, and an arrow shaft three inch Belcrank for elevator Control. He provided centering holes front and rear for a wing jig? I used the holes and spruce dowels mad the wing a lot stronger total of four dowel rods in the top and bottom wing assembly.AJ
