The only rc mag I have any experience with is RCCA. It's been a long time but I've never seen a review where they had any issue with what was being reviewed. It was like it was being written by fan boys. If they reviewed it, it was wonderful. Then the mag filled up with Traxxas adds and I quit taking the magazine. I'd had a subscription for like 15 years and couldn't see wasting my money there any more. Gave all the magazines to the local rc club and retired from the rc magazine scene.
