My latest CARF model was shipped without the holes cut for the main gear wheels in the fuselage. It was covered in quality control stickers and I wonder how such a large visable mistake was missed. No big deal for me, I did the cuts and may have done it better.
When I built my flash, with elecrons, I needed to extend the opening to make the nose gear fit. The longer leg will make the airplane have a higher angle of attack for takeoff and this may be an avanatage.
