My suggestion would be to buy the Hobby People Sonic ARF, and strap on either one of the motors you have.....and then HANG ON! The Sonic flies great with standard motors and will get you the speed your looking for. It's also 20-30 bucks cheaper. It's not, however, a "V" tail.

You'll find many varying opinions here on the "higher end motors". Start with a 110-120 MPH plane, and then come talk to us when ya wanna go ballistic! lol

BTW, I used to have a "Hobbico" Viper, is this the same plane?? I flew the snot out of that one for years!!
